Constellation Stocks Story
Constellation Stocks is the editorial side of a one-person options trading business.
The premise: long/short equity options run as an independent practice, with the full methodology taught in public.
Background
I’m Iskan. Background in private equity and Big 4. The skills carried over directly: reading financial statements, modeling earnings, building conviction on industries and macro drivers, sizing capital against asymmetric outcomes. Markets are where I apply that toolkit on my own account.
Member of MicroCapClub.
The approach
At the core, fundamental analysis. Earnings, financial statements, business models, management guidance, macro drivers. The same work a value investor does.
What’s different is how the view is expressed:
Stock options instead of stock. Defined risk, asymmetric payoff, structured around a specific thesis and a specific catalyst window.
Shorter horizons. Up to three months, typically tied to earnings dates or clear revaluation catalysts.
Long and short combined. Gains on one side help balance risk on the other. Premium decay on losers is part of the design, not an exception.
Macro weighted more heavily than traditional value. Rates, currency, commodities, and policy often become the direct catalyst for both the stock and the option.
The result is a portfolio designed to compound through asymmetric returns while keeping risk defined at the position level.
The track record
In 2025, the proprietary long/short equity options strategy behind Constellation Stocks returned 97.71%. Independently verified by a U.S. licensed CPA under AICPA AT-C Section 215. Sharpe 2.24, Sortino 5.25, near zero correlation to the S&P 500.
The live monthly Track Record is at constellationstocks.com.
The philosophy
Teach the skill, don’t sell the signal.
There are no live calls here. No alerts. No “follow my trades” feed. The work shared in public is methodology and post-hoc analysis on closed positions. The goal is to make you a better independent decision maker, not a follower.
Your independent judgment is the product.
What you’ll find here
Monthly case studies on closed trades. The thesis, the structure chosen, why that structure over alternatives, what worked, what did not.
Frameworks for the practice: thesis development, structure design, sizing, execution, review.
